How To Remove The Back Of A Seiko Watch
Seiko watches are one of the most well-known watch brands, so learning how to remove the back of a Seiko watch can be really easy. These watches are known to be durable and have withstood the test of time. However, when the time comes for you to replace your Seiko watch figuring out how to remove the back of it can be more difficult than it actually should be. Here are a few steps that will help you to remove the back of a Seiko watch.
To remove the back of a Seiko watch, you will need:
- Seiko watch knife
- snapback watch case openers
- Inspect your Seiko watch for the point in which the watch is molded together. If you look closely you will be able to see a separation line on the back of your watch. You can usually find this separation where the band of the watch connects to the body of the watch.
- Insert your watch knife into that separation and gently and slowly make the opening bigger. As you do this make sure that the knife is not facing towards you. Twist the back of your watch until it successfully disconnects from the rest of the watch.
- You can also opt to use a snapback watch case opener. These work the same way as knives but are safer and more precise. Some also come with a grip at the handle that makes removing the watch back that much easier.
Removing the back of a Seiko watch is pretty easy you just have to make sure that you do it correctly the first time so that you do not cause any damage to your Seiko watch.
