Learn how to remove blanks from an iPod Touch. Blanks are issues that occur when some iPods have been jailbroken. The images and extra, unusable apps on your iPod Touch can be annoying. There is only one safe way to remove breaks off of your iPod Touch.

  1. Navigate to your homescreen. The best place to get started is at your homescreen. This is the fastest, most effective way to remove blanks from your iPod. Removing blanks from the iPod could be done completely manually compared to music, videos, or photos.
  2. Longpress your unwanted apps for three seconds. You would need press the unwanted app for up to three seconds until all of the apps on the iPod Touch's homescreen become shaky. You would also notice the apps becoming opaque. You could rearrange or add/delete apps in this state.
  3. Tap the "X" symbol in the upper right hand corner of the unwanted app(s). By tapping the "x" you would be deleting the app(s) from your iPod Touch. Please note that this is the only safe way to delete blanks from your iPod Touch. Some iPod users download software to their iPod Touches, but that is strongly not recommended. Doing so could cause your iPod Touch to work improperly and may cause more issues. Software should only be downloaded directly from an official Apple website. Some claim of returning blanks also, but if you do not add any more jailbroken apps to your iPhone then they would not return.
