How To Remove Crazy Glue From Skin

When using crazy glue for household projects or crafts, one should know how to remove crazy glue from skin. This is imperative in case an accident should happen. It can be very easy to spill the crazy glue and sometime,s very difficult to remove. But there is no need to worry because with a few easy tips, one can be very effective with removing the glue as long as they act promptly.

Things needed to remove super glue:

  • Cotton balls
  • Water/Soap
  • Nail Polish Remover
  • Old Toothbrush
  1. Quickly put the exposed area under warm water. Repeat this process until most of the loose crazy glue has been washed away. Make sure the area is rinsed thoroughly. If water does not do it alone, one can use hand soap to help loosen up the glue.
  2. Scrub the area. Take an old toothbrush and begin to scrub the area as soon as possible. Do not scrub too hard, but scrub hard enough until you see the crazy glue breaking apart. If you do not have an old toothbrush handy, try using a dry cloth or any other product that will not stick to the glue but aide in cleaning the area.
  3. Use acetone nail polish to wash the area. Next, use an acetone nail polish remover to rid the area of the crazy glue that could not be removed otherwise. You can take a cotton ball and soak it with nail polish remover. Use the cotton ball to continue to gently scrub the area of crazy glue.
  4. Wash the area with warm water and clean it. If there is spots that still have crazy glue on them, continue to repeat the process over and over until all of the crazy glue has been removed.
