How To Remove Ink From Skin
You can easily learn how to remove ink from your skin by following some easy steps. Ink stains on your skin can be difficult to remove without the proper ingredients. Most of the time, plain soap will just not cut it. You will need to lubricate your skin in order to remove ink properly.
In order to remove ink from skin, you will need:
- Kosher salt
- Olive oil
- Lemon juice
- Glass container
- Wash your skin thoroughly with soap and water. Scrub your hands for a good two minutes, lathering very thoroughly. The best soap to use is regular dish detergent.
- If your hands are very rough and dry, the ink has probably been absorbed into your skin. The best way to remove ink is to thoroughly moisturize in order to create a barrier in between the ink and your skin. Take your olive oil and rub it into your hands for a couple of minutes.
- Take about ¼ cup of kosher salt and add to glass container. Add enough olive oil to fill the jar to the brim. About ¼ cup or less is usually enough. Add a couple tablespoons of lemon juice to the mixture. Shake the mixture up very well.
- Pour the mixture into your hands. Three tablespoons or so is usually enough. Put the mixture onto the affected area. If the ink is not on your hands, you might want to do this step in the shower to prevent a huge mess. The salt will help exfoliate the skin and remove stubborn ink.
