How To Remove iPhone Sim Card

If you need to learn how to remove your SIM card from your iPhone, it takes little time to do so as long as you have something that will open the SIM tray. You may need to remove the SIM card from your iPhone if you want to sell the phone or want to copy contacts from another phone to the SIM card for your iPhone. You only need to locate the SIM tray on your iPhone to get started.

To remove the SIM card from your iPhone, you will need:

• SIM eject tool or paperclip

1. Place the SIM eject tool or paperclip in the SIM tray. Use the SIM eject tool that came with your iPhone or use the end of a straightened paperclip and place the end of the tool or paperclip in the hole on the SIM tray. The SIM tray is located on the top of your phone between the headset jack and the Power button. 
2. Push the SIM eject tool or paperclip. Push the end of the SIM eject tool in the hole on the SIM tray. The SIM tray will pop out.
3. Remove the SIM card from your iPhone. Pull the SIM tray out until the entire SIM card is displayed. Turn the phone over so that the SIM card drops out or use your fingernail to remove the SIM card from the tray.

Warning:

Be gentle when handling the SIM tray as too much force could break the SIM tray off your iPhone.
