Following these few steps will allow you to remove rust from your motorcycle to get it looking good and clean in no time.
To remove rust from your motorcycle you will need:
- dish detergent
- water
- small container
- rags
- steel wool
- Wipe the rust to get rid of dirt and debris. Use a dry towel to wipe over the rust to remove any access dirt and debris from the motorcycle. This will make it easier to remove the rust.
- Remove the rust with steel wool. Lightly scrub the rust with steel wool. Be careful to avoid scratching the motorcycle with the steel wool. Continue to scrub all of the rust spots gently with the steel wool until the rust is completely removed from the motorcycle.
- Clean the area. Mix dish detergent and water in a small container. Use a rag to clean the rust area. Thoroughly rinse and remove the solution with water. To rinse properly use a clean rag soaked with water on it. Wipe with a dry rag to completely dry the motorcycle when done cleaning. Enjoy your motorcycle ride again rust free.
