  1. Verify that your license is clean. You won't be able to rent an exotic automobile if you have any infractions on your driving record. You should check with your local DMV and obtain a driver record abstract.  If you have any DWIs, speeding tickets or other traffic infractions you will need to wait until your license is clean before you can rent.
  2. Make sure that you have a credit card with an extremely high limit. You should budget roughly $1000 per day for your automobile rental. Most exotic rental car companies will usually require a large credit card hold, to protect themselves against damages.
