How To Rescan A 19

Looking for directions on how to rescan a 19" Magnavox? In order to rescan a 19" Magnavox, you will need to auto program your television again. You should be somewhat familiar with auto programming your 19" Magnavox television because you did it during the initial setup of your television. You will need you remote control to scan a 19" Magnavox.

To rescan a 19" Magnavox, you will need:

• Your 19" Magnavox
• Your 19" Magnavox remote control
  

1. Entering The Menu. To rescan a 19" Magnavox, you will need to enter the menu on your television. You can enter the menu by pressing the Menu button on your 19" Magnavox remote control.
   
2. Using The Menu. You will need to use the up and down arrows on your remote control to scroll through the menu. Once in the menu, scroll to Setup and press the OK button on your 19" Magnavox remote control. To continue the process of rescanning a 19" Magnavox, scroll to Auto Program and press OK again.
   
3. Auto Program.  Once you enter the Auto Program menu, you will see a couple of options. If your 19" Magnavox is connected to an antenna, select Antenna. If your 19" Magnavox is connected to a cable line, select Cable. Your 19" Magnavox is connected to a cable line if you have a cable or satellite box. When you select Antenna or Cable, your 19" Magnavox will automatically rescan itself. When your 19" Magnavox is rescanning itself, it is searching for channels that you receive.
   

Tip: When you are rescanning a 19" Magnavox, you can cancel the rescan or auto program process by pressing the Menu button on your 19" Magnavox remote control.
