How To Reset iPod

Need to know how to reset your iPod, but are too embarrassed to ask anyone how?  The first step in resetting your iPod is determining whether or not your iPod has a scroll wheel or a click wheel. 

The following models carry the click wheel:

• iPod nano (5th generation)
• iPod nano (4th generation)
• iPod nano (3rd generation)
• iPod nano (2nd generation)
• iPod nano
• iPod classic
• iPod (5th generation)
• iPod with color display (iPod photo)
• iPod (Click Wheel)
• iPod mini
• iPod mini (2nd generation)

If your model fits into this category, simply follow these simple steps!

1. Slide the 'Hold' button back and forth. 
2. Press both the 'Menu' and 'Center' buttons at the same time until you see an Apple logo.  This may take up to eight seconds and you may need to try it more than once.  

**If you still have not reset it, try connecting the iPod to a power source.  This source could be either an active (not in sleep mode) computer or wall adapter.**
