1. Locate the home and sleep button on your iPod music device. The home button is essentially the circular button that works as your "clicker" depending on what device that you are using. The sleep button is the slim rectangular button at the top of your iPod that you can use to turn off the screen's lights.
2. Hold both the home and sleep button simultaneously. Hold these two buttons down until you are able to see the apple sign appear in the middle of your screen. Avoid letting go of any of the buttons until you see the apple logo. This will now allow your iPod to reset and start back up.
