Set expectations to help resolve long distance relationship problems. Decide if you want to text all the time, or just in the evenings. Call every day, or twice a week? Send emails, or send snail mail? Just knowing what the other person wants can help make sure both individuals needs will be fulfilled.

Verbal communication is crucial to maintain an bond and stay connected. Many long distance relationship problems can be resolved simply by including each other in daily lives.
