How to Send Pictures With an iPhone

If you take a lot of pictures with your iPhone, you're gonna want to know how to send pictures with an iPhone to your friends.  There are two ways you can send a picture on an iPhone: you can send a picture attached to an email or as a multimedia text message.  After you choose the method you want to use to share your picture, you only have to enter the sending information and you are set.

  1. Select a picture.  Tap the "Photo Library" button and search through your photos until you find the picture you want to send to someone.  Like everything else with the iPhone, simply tap the photo to open it.
  2. Choose how you want to send the picture.  Press the "Forward" button and choose how you want to send the picture.  You can email the photo or send it as a multimedia text message.
  3. Enter the sending information.  If you want to send the photo in an email, enter the address in the "To:" field and press "Send."  If you want to send the picture as a multimedia text message, enter the cell phone number and tap "Send."

You can send a picture while you are in "Camera" mode as well.  If you take a picture that you know you want to share, tap the "Preview" button and then tap the "Take Picture" button.  You can choose from the same forwarding options that were mentioned above.

If you have the MySpace or Facebook app, you can share your iPhone pictures on your profile for your friends to see.
