Looking for instructions on how to set the background on iPod Touch? The iPod Touch comes with several wallpaper pictures that you can set as your background. If you have previously placed photos on your iPod Touch, you can also use them as your background. Any image that is in your Photo Library on your iPod touch can be used as your background.

To set the background on your iPod Touch, you will need:

  • Your iPod Touch
  1. Select A Photo. To select a photo, tap "Photos" on the home screen of your iPod Touch and then tap "Photo Library". If you would like to use the wallpaper that came with your iPod Touch, go to "Settings", then "Wallpaper", then "Wallpaper" again. Once you have decided which photo you would like to use for the background on your iPod Touch, tap the photo and select "Use As Wallpaper".
  2. Position The Photo. Once you have tapped "Use As Wallpaper", a design screen will appear on your iPod Touch. Using the design screen, you can drag the photo to pan it or pinch the photo to zoom in or out. All photos are different, so you should make any necessary changes until the photo looks the way you want it to.
  3. Setting The Background. Now that you have made any necessary changes to your photo, you are ready to set the background on your iPod Touch. To do this, simply tap Set Wallpaper. You have now successfully set the background on your iPod Touch.

Tip:

  • You can add personal photos to your iPod Touch by syncing your iPod Touch with iTunes.
