If you can get you drunk very easily by drinking solo, then you must know how to stop drinking alcohol on your own. Those of you who have a fairly low alcohol tolerance should definitely avoid drinking alone. If you don’t stop doing so, you can get alcohol poisoning. In the worse case scenario, the alcohol can kill you. Therefore, you will need these two steps in order to stop drinking alcohol on your own.

To stop drinking alcohol on your own, you will need:

  • Hearty meal
  • Friend(s)
  1. Have a hearty meal. The first step to stop drinking alcohol on your own is to have a hearty meal prior to attending a party. If you have a small appetite, you should still eat something that can make you feel full for a good while. The chance for you to get drunk is much lower if you have food in your stomach. Plus, you will want to drink less alcohol. You will focus on other things in the party instead of drinking.
  2. Take someone with you. The second step for stop drinking alcohol on your own is to bring some friends to a party. If you can’t do so, you must have at least one friend to go along with you. Tell your friend to keep an eye on you, just in case you get drunk. Make very sure that your friend only drinks moderately. Note that you are depending on your friend to be there for you.   

Follow these two steps will help you stop drinking alcohol on your own. Drinking alone can make you feel satisfied and fulfilling, but it can be very dangerous if you have low alcohol tolerance. You can enjoy drinking totally when doing it appropriately.
