How To Tell If A Coworker Has A Crush On You
You should know how to tell if a co-worker has a crush on you if you want to determine whether the extra friendly editor is extra friendly for a reason or to find out whether the receptionist you like reciprocates your feelings. Though there's no perfectly accurate way of knowing a co-worker has a crush on you, there are some tips you can use to see if someone likes you.
- The easiest way to tell if a co-worker has a crush on you is if you catch her staring at you when she think you cannot see her. When working, try and glance around to see if someone is admiring you from a distance. If she looks embarrassed when she sees you looking at her, you can be certain she has a crush on you.
- If a co-worker constantly finds reasons to be around you, she might have a crush on you. If you always find yourself in the same place as she is or you notice her following you around, you can be certain she has a crush on you. Excessive emails or sticky notes left on your desk only further prove this.
- If a colleague finds ways to physically touch you, it might be the signs of a crush. Though some accidental brushes are exactly that--accidental--others can be deliberate ways for a co-worker with a crush to feel closer to you. Next time you are getting coffee or sitting in close quarters with someone you think has crush on you, try and notice whether she touches you or not. This includes "accidental" knee bumps or brushes against you.
- Once you determine who has a crush on you, it is best to simply ask the person whether it's true. In most cases, she will be glad you noticed and you can start a budding romance.
