Either one of the options above will work, and of course the more you add the thicker your sauce will become. Add either of these options in small increments.
- Lastly cut the stove down to a low simmer and eventually remove from stove top. This gives the sauce a heated sensation and as it cools it also thickens. Keep stirring the sauce until the thickness is to your satisfaction.
