Want to learn how to tie a bandana? Bandanas are worn as a fashion statement, for functionality, and because they are easy to tie. If you aren't a fan of hats or caps, bandanas are an alternative. Best of all, they only take a few minutes to put on.

What you will need:

  • Bandana (sizes will vary)
  1. Fold the bandana in half. Lay the bandana on a flat surface and fold it diagonally into the shape of a triangle. For larger bandanas, continue to fold it diagonally until it is the appropriate size.
  2. Put the bandana on your head. Hold the lower ends of the bandana and flip it to the back of your head so that the highest point of the triangle hangs toward the floor. The edge of the bandana should be a half of an inch from the top of your eyebrows.
  3. Secure the bandana on your head. Hold the ends together and tie a knot at the base of your neck. The bandana should cover your entire head and the knot should rest just above the neck. If you want to secure the tail of the bandana, knot the ends over the tail and pull the tail down for a snug fit.
