Learn how to tie your Converse Laces. Converse laces may have some of the weirdest, longest shoe laces, so upon first sight you may be a little puzzled on how to tie them. It is not tedious to tie Converse laces and you will get better with tying them over time. Follow these simple steps to begin properly tying your Converse Laces.
- Grab both of your Converse laces and cross them. The very first thing you would have to do is to cross both of your laces. Loop them and tuck one shoe lace under the other one. Then, tie the shoe lace down. Keep a steady hold on the tie so that it will not unravel. Use both hands. One hand will hold one side of the Converse lace and the other hand, vice versa.
- Fold about 1/4 of the length of the shoe lace down on both sides. If the shoe lace is a bit longer than usual, then you could fold a little less down. The shoe laces should look like two loops that are side by side. The loops should be help closed by both of your hands. Usually, with your index finger and thumb.
- Tuck one loop under the other. When you tuck one loop under the other one, then you will tie down the two loops. This tie should hold the shoe laces in place, so that way, your hands can be free. It should be a tight tie. If not, the tie may unravel. Repeat steps 2 and 3 if your Converse laces are still too long.
