- Wear the best shoes. There are tons of running shoes out on the market today. Choose the best ones that fit right and increase your performance when running track. Having the wrong shoes while running track could cause foot aches.
- With each step, extend legs as far as possible. When you are running track, there will be a lot of competitions. When you extend each leg in front of the other to its full potential, then you increase speed and distance. That is the goal when running track.
- Do not watch your feet. While running track, do not watch your feet. You should be looking straight ahead at all times. This will keep you from running into anyone or any obstacle. It will also keep you focused.
