As the popularity of iPods continue to grow learning how to use iPod touch may be a good investment of your time. iPods are music devices that take the term MP3 to a whole new level. With the introduction of the iPod touch, people have access to a variety of apps, music and WiFi capability. Apple has improved the Apple iPod as each year passes by. Therefore all you have to do is follow these steps to become an iPod touch expert.

To use an iPod touch, you will need:

  • iPod
  1. Sign up for an iTunes account. iTunes is an essential part of the iPod touch products. You can sign up for an account when you install iTunes into your computer. Once you have an account you can begin to use the app store and iTunes music store on your iPod touch.
  2. To download music click on the iTunes music store app. This app makes it really simple and easy for you to get music onto your iPod without the use of a computer. Search for the song that you want to download and click "Buy." This will automatically download the song onto your iPod and allow you to immediately begin listening to it.
  3. Purchase apps at the app store. Use your app store app on your iPod touch to get free apps like "Yelp" and "Facebook."
  4. Using WiFi on the iPod touch. Go to "Settings" and click on the "WiFi connection." If you are anywhere near an internet connection it will show you all of the possible connections. You usually need to have password or code to connect to secure locations unless the WiFi is free.
  5. Surf the web on your iPod touch. Once you have an internet connection you can use "Safari" to surf the web the same way that you would on a regular computer. All you have to do is input what you are looking for into the search field, then press "Enter."

Learning how to use an iPod touch is by far one of the easiest things to do and know you can teach all of your friends how to use one.
