Learn about how to view computer history to find porn. Maybe you are not looking at porn but you had a friend, sibling or someone over who you suspect was looking at porn on your computer. You don't want to be accused of something you are not doing and be on your girlfriend or wife's bad list. Find out how to see if there is porn on your computer history and get rid of it. Then deal with the one who got it there.

What you need to find any porn on your history bar:

  • Internet
  • Computer
  1. Finding the porn. It doesn't matter what system your computer is operating on, the history is the same no matter what. Take your mouse and click on the history icon. The history icon is sometimes at the top left of your web browser's bar on a Mac or at "c:\user\local \local settings\history" on some Window's systems. When you open it you'll see all the activity other users have made over the day or last few days.
  2. Another way to see if someone has been looking at porn is to watch what comes up on the web address bar when you start to type a word. The name of websites or web addresses come up if you type something in there due to the "Auto Fill" feature on many operating systems. If something sexual comes up, you know it's a porn site.
  3. Cleaning your history. To try and get rid of the porn on your history bar, go to tools. Click where it says "Clear Recent History" or some variation of that phrase. Depending on how much data has been stored on your computer (porn or otherwise) clearing the history will take a minute or less.

You need to restart your computer to make sure all the history has been erased.
