Learning how to view private MySpace pages can be a great way to learn more information about a person of interest to you. Social networking sites are massive databases with information related to and readily accessible by millions of users. Your MySpace profile is susceptible to being viewed by strangers and at risk of being misused if you are not careful. To maintain privacy, users have the option to set their profiles to "private." When your profile is set to private, only your friends can view your information, comments and photos. There are ways to get around this setting, if you understand how to directly enter the addresses of the resources you are looking to view.

  1. Gather the proper credentials to gain access to your target MySpace pages. To view private MySpace images, profiles and blogs, you need to have information on your friend's MySpace ID number, picture ID number and the blog ID number. Once you have these, you can enter the information into your brower window by following this format: http://www.myspace.com/<profilename>. The name of the profile can be gathered by asking your friends.
  2. Gather the unique IDs to view private MySpace images. You will need to type the following URL into the address bar of your browser. Depending on your computer's operating system, you may have options to use browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome. In the URL bar, type: http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index. cfm?fuseaction=user.viewPictur&friendID=*********&albumID=*****. Enter the friend ID number (enter the nine digits in place of the stars) and the album ID number (the last five digits will replace the stars). This will allow you to view photo albums if they are set to private.
  3. Gather the unique IDs to view private MySpace Blogs. Viewing private blogs can be a great way to understand more about a person. You need to type the following URL into the address bar of your browser: http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=*********&blogID=********. Enter the friend ID number (enter the nine digits in place of the stars for the user ID) and the blog ID number (enter the eight digits in place of the stars for the blog ID).

Now that you have learned how to view private MySpace profiles, images and blogs, you can view the information, comments and photos of your friends even if their profiles are set to private.
