If you're trying to figure out how to watch movies on iPod Touch, you'll come to find that it's a very simple process that requires only a couple of computer applications. Based on a Wi-Fi mobile platform, the iPod Touch has been a hot commodity for Apple for over a year now. Displaying some similarities to the iPhone itself, the iPod Touch is essentially a portable media player which allows users to watch movies, however, these files must be converted into iPod Touch files first. Fortunately, many of these converters are available online and are completely free.

Things You'll Need:

  • iPod Touch
  • Computer with internet connection
  • iPod video converter
  • Latest version of iTunes
  1. Download the free iPod video converter and the latest version of iTunes. These items can be found on Apple's official website. You're going to need the iPod video converter in order to convert the files prior to using the iTunes application to transfer those files over to your iPod Touch.
  2. Open the movie file for conversion. Once you have downloaded the free iPod video converter, select and open the movie file you wish to convert by using the "Choose File" option. It doesn't matter if these files are from a DVD or your computer's hard drive. If it's a DVD you wish you convert from, you must first choose the file with the most size in order to begin the conversion process.
  3. Transfer the movie files from your computer to your iPod Touch. Now that you have found and converted the movie files that you want, it's time to transfer them over to your iPod Touch. Run iTunes with your iPod Touch connected via cable. Click the icon on the bottom left from the iTunes application. The iPod Touch will prompt a disconnecting warning prior to cable removal. Select the Movies tab, click the file you want to sync, click apply and then wait for your video to transition into an iPod Touch movie.
