How To Wear Boots
Knowing how to wear boots can be just as easy as any other shoe made for men. While there are certain parameters that add to the style and look of boots, they are very versatile and can be worn for work purposes or be part of casual weekend wear.
- When choosing boots for work, be sure to see what requirements need to be met. For example, if you work on a construction site or at an automotive shop, you may need to be sure that the boots are steel toe reinforced. Also, be sure to find out if you need to have a certain color to match with the company's dress code.
- Cowboy boots come in a variety of colors and styles. If you are planning to wear these often, be sure to try them on with the socks that you are planning to wear with them. Because of the pointed toe, some boots can become uncomfortable, even if they are the correct size because of sock thickness. Also, choose a color that can be worn with any cowboy clothes you own. If you aren't sure, you can always choose neutral colors like black or tan because they will go with anything.
- There are several styles of casual boots. When choosing a pair, try them on to check the fit. Be aware of the weight of the boot. If you are planning to do a lot of hiking or walking, you want to look for a lighter boot. Much like cowboy boots, there are plenty of colors to choose from. If you are leaning towards a pair of boots that you can wear anywhere, stick with beige or black as they are the most versatile colors.
- All boots can be worn in a few different ways. You can let the leg of your pants cover up the boot so that only the bottom is showing or tuck the jeans into the boots. If they have shoelaces, you can tie them all the way up to the top, or loosen the laces and let them hang open. If you go with this option, tuck the laces into the side of the boots close to your foot to avoid tripping over them. There are many different ways to wear boots.
