A hat is one of the most essential accessories for every man, which is why it is important to know how to wear a hat. Hats are a fantastic way to liven up your style and set you apart from the pack. Hats come in dozens (if not hundreds) of different varieties, which can be worn in many different ways.

1. The Cowboy hat is an accessory that, it is safe to say, will never go out of fashion. When buying a cowboy hat, look in the mirror to make sure it doesn't lie too high on your head, or too low over your forehead. Flatten your hair so that the hat doesn't look lumpy. If you have curly hair, brush it down or use a hair styling product to make it lie relatively flat on your head.
2. The Baseball hat is one of the most common hats to come across. Contrary to how it's worn in many rap videos, a baseball hat should always be worn straight, not tilted. This also helps keep the sun out of your eyes.
3. Men in Fedoras always seem more suave than your average Joe. A fedora should always be worn with a suit and should be black or grey. Unlike the baseball hat, the fedora may be worn slightly tilted or askew, to give you an enhanced look.
4. Another popular hat is the beanie, which adds a personalized look to any outfit. A beanie looks best with straight hair, some of which can poke out of the bottom.
