- The first step to wiring your car stereo is to open your hood and disconnect the battery. After you have done that, it is time to install your speakers. This can be done by removing the panel of the speaker enclosure.

The second step to wiring your car stereo is to unscrew and disconnect the speaker. Before you connect the new speakers, splice the old wires then connect them to your new speaker. After you have done that screw your speaker in.
- The third and step to wiring your car stereo is to screw the panel back on. After you have done that, take out your existing head unit. Now disconnect your head unit and splice the old wires.
