- Bleeding and bruising. Since blood cell count is lowered this also makes it easier for one to bleed and bruise easier while on this medication. Therefore it is advised that one takes precautions when taking part in activities, to keep from getting hurt. Regular blood tests are also advised to make sure that the blood count level doesn’t fall to low.
