Some iPod Touch users frequently encounter some issues when using their gadgets and one of these involves iPod Touch Wi-Fi problems. You will not be able to completely enjoy the use of your iPod Touch without being able to connect to the internet, so you need to resolve your Wi-Fi problems for a better experience with your iPod.

  1. Unable to connect to the internet. This is a common issue you may encounter with an iPod Touch. To resolve this Wi-Fi problem, you need to consult the user manual. This is an essential tool you can use to resolve this concern as the manual contains all the necessary information you need in order to get started and get connected to the internet. Make sure to go over the instructions and guide provided for you to start connecting to a Wi-Fi network with your iPod Touch. IPod touch Wi-Fi problems follow the same basic troubleshooting guide for internet connection. You can go to settings and turn your Wi-Fi off and wait for a few seconds before turning it on again. Confirm if the router and modem are connected and turned on. Check if other devices are able to connect to the internet and that your iPod Touch is within the range of the Wi-Fi connection. Turn off your iPod Touch, wait for a few seconds before turning it on and try to connect again.
  2. Unable to find or link to a Wi-Fi network. Find out if there are available networks in your area through the Wi-Fi settings and choose a connection from the list. Take note that it may take a few seconds before a Wi-Fi name or network appears. Closed or private networks do not show their network name to any Wi-Fi devices. If you know all pertinent information of the private network, tap on "Settings," "Wi-Fi," then "Others." Enter the Wi-Fi network name, security and password. If you own the Wi-Fi source, restart the router and the modem and try to connect again.
  3. Poor signals. Check for possible interferences, which include reduced wireless range from the Wi-Fi network to the iPod tTouch, intermittent signals and others. If the problem is the ISP, call your internet service provider. If you are outside the range of Wi-Fi network, look for a better spot or move closer to the Wi-Fi source.
  4. Currently connected but no connections. This is a common iPod Touch Wi-Fi problem. Sometimes your settings are not recognized by the network, so you will have to re-configure your settings. Check the Wi-Fi settings. If you have verified that everything is correct, you can choose to forget this network so that it will reset all settings for the specific Wi-Fi network. Reset the network. Re-enter network settings and try to connect again.
  5. Other iPod Touch Wi-Fi problems. There are other Wi-Fi connection issues that are beyond the user manual and basic troubleshooting guides. For further assistance, get in touch with Apple’s customer service or read through related forums online.
