Every Justin Bieber biography should start with the date he was born, right? Justin Bieber was born on March 1st, 1994 in the city of London, Ontario, Canada. Justin's early years were spent in the city of Stratford, which is also in Ontario. 

During Justin's earlier years, he taught himself how to play piano, guitar, trumpet and drums. He still plays guitar on occasion during his concerts. Justin was looking forward to a life of music, and maybe even a career in music. However, he was very silent about this until his YouTube debut which is where he was discovered. 

Justin Bieber was thirteen years old when be uploaded his first YouTube videos in 2007. Winning second place in a singing contest prompted Justin  to display his singing ability to the world.

A talent agent named Scooter Braun discovered Justin Bieber's YouTube videos in 2009. He flew Bieber to Atlanta, Georgia to audition with Usher, an R&B artist. Usher was impressed with Justin Bieber and got him a recording contract. Bieber's first single was "One Time", and the "My World" album came out one year later. Both of these went platinum in Canada and the United States. Since then, Bieber has been on The Today Show, Good Morning America, the Grammies, Saturday Night Live, The Wendy Williams Show and many others. 

Bieber released "My World 2.0" in the beginning of 2010. The album hit number one on the Billboard 200. In July, 2010, Justin Bieber became the most popular celebrity in search engines.
