However, when urinating combined with pain, tenderness and a heavy feeling in the lower portion of the abdomin is an issue, bacteria passing through the urethra can be the cause. If the pain and other symptoms have just begun, flushing your system with plenty of water is recommended.
- Lower Back Pain – The kidneys are located in your back. They are found towards the back of the abdominal cavity above the waist. Everyone has two: one is on the left and one on the right. When suffering with a kidney infection, the pain is generally in the lower portion of the back. If a kidney infection is not treated in atimely manner, loss of a kidney could result.
- Fever and Chills – When not taken care of and treated early, your body can begin to fight a kidney infection. Chills and fever are a sign of increase damage and the body's attempt to fight the infection or cause of the damage. A kidney infection can lead to blood poisoning, kidney failure and death. Kidney infection ssymptoms can appear within seconds When or if you find yourself suffering with chills and fever, see a physician immediately.
- Nausea and Vomiting – When an internal organ is infected or inflamed, nausea, vomiting and general fatigue is a result or can be a few of the resulting complications. When the onset of symptoms occur it is advised to seek medical attention immediately.
A kidney infection, when left unchecked, can cause the body to go into shock. Within seconds, permanent damage or death can occur. When you first notice any one of the symptoms above, seek medical attention immediately. It could be a matter of life or death.
