Kirk Franklin Albums

If you are a fan of gospel music, you might want to listen to any of the many Kirk Franklin albums. Kirk Franklin is a Fort Worth, Texas-reared gospel musician who is well-known for being the head of various urban choirs, such as One Nation Crew (often abbreviated as 1NC), God's Property and The Family. Kirk Franklin's music career began officially in 1992 when he joined The Family choir.

  1. "Kirk Franklin and the Family" - "Kirk Franklin and the Family" is the vocalist's debut album. It was released in the summer of 1993 on the Christian label Sparrow Records, which is part of EMI. The live recording was made at Fort Worth's Grace Temple SDA Church on July 25th of 1992. All of the album's tracks were both composed and arranged by Kirk Franklin. The songs include "He's Able," "Speak to Me" and "He Can Handle It."
  2. "Kirk Franklin and the Family Christmas" - "Kirk Franklin and the Family Christmas" is a holiday album that came out in the autumn of 1995. The Christmas studio album came out on Interscope Records. The album, which went Gold, featured holiday tunes such as "The Night That Christ Was Born," "They Need to Know," "Love Song" and "Silent Night."
  3. "Whatcha Lookin' 4" - "Whatcha Lookin' 4" is another Kirk Franklin recording that was a collaboration with The Family choir. The album was released in stores in the spring of 1996 on GospoCentric Records. The entire album was produced and composed by the singer, with the exception of two tracks. Some standout songs off of "Whatcha Lookin 4" are "Melodies From Heaven," "Washed Away" and "Savior More Than Life."
  4. "The Rebirth of Kirk Franklin" - "The Rebirth of Kirk Franklin" is the artist's seventh album, and it hit stores in the winter of 2002. "The Rebirth of Kirk Franklin" was released by GospoCentric Records. The album features guest appearances by Richard Smallwood, Shirley Caesar, Bishop T.D. Jakes, Papa San and Willie Neal Johnson.
  5. "Hello Fear" - "Hello Fear" is a Kirk Franklin album that came out in March of 2011 on Verity Records. The album is Kirk Franklin's eleventh, and consists of songs including "Looking for You," "I Smile" and "The Altar."
