League Of Legends Strategy

Coming up with a "League of Legends" strategy is absolutely essential if you want to do well in the game. "League of Legends" is a free to play real-time strategy game by Riot Games. You take control of one of many characters in a five versus five game of tower pushing, player ganking and creep pushing. "League of Legends" may seem simple at first, but the different characters and items available make the game very strategic. Try out these "League of Legends" strategies for tips on how to do better.

  1. Teamwork. A winning strategy for "League of Legends" revolves around teamwork. If you do not work as a team, you will lose. Be sure to note your team's composition. If you see your team is full of squishy classes, pick a tank character. A bad team composition can be an auto-loss. When you are pushing lanes, be sure to let your team know about missing enemies. A missing enemy suggests an attempted gank on another one of your teammates, so a heads up can save your team easily. Always be aware of what your team is doing. The best "League of Legends" strategy for teamwork will always involve great communication. Be vocal and never go alone.
  2. Plan out your item build. Item builds vary wildly from character to character, as well as how you play the character. Do some research before hopping into the game. There are tons of item strategies for every character. Find one that looks good and stick to it. Also, be sure to change up your items based on what team you are facing. If you are facing a team with a lot of snares, buy Mercury Treads. Knowing what item is best for the current situation is an absolutely key strategy for "League of Legends."
  3. Use the map to your advantage. The maps in "League of Legends" are littered with high grass that makes you invisible to any enemy that is not in the high grass as well. This allows for a ton of ambush setups. Ashe can hide in the bushes and use her ultimate to stun an unsuspecting enemy, allowing for a quick rushdown by your teammates. Towers grant vision through fog of war, so if you see an enemy overextending himself, try winding through the middle of the map and behind them. Being stuck between a tower and an advancing player is a very bad place to be.
