Many aspiring pro-wrestlers learn to do what is known as cutter wrestling move while training. This type of maneuver was first invented by WWE booker Johnny Ace and WCW's Diamond Dallas Page, who called his finisher the Diamond Cutter. Other wrestlers who perform varieties of this move are Randy Orton, Matt Hardy, and of course, Stone Cold Steve Austin. To learn to perform a cutter move, which is a variety of what is more commonly known as a stunner, read on below.

  1. Kick your opponent in the midsection. This will weaken the individual so that you can more easily set them up for the cutter that's coming.
  2. Get in front of your opponent and grab his or her head with your arms. A cutter wrestling move requires a facelock, front or back, to be applied in order to apply it. You can be facing your opponent or have your back to them while performing the maneuver.
  3. Jump up in the air ever so slightly. The jump will add a bit more momentum to the cutter you are about to perform. Another aspect that can achieve this is to catch your opponent bouncing off the ropes with an Irish whip. It will make the cutter move look that much more devastating.
  4. Drop to a seated position or drop your body straight down, on your back. While holding your opponent, your body's momentum will drive them face-first to the canvas. The cutter wrestling move is actually a form of a bulldog in this respect.
