Mario Kart Characters

If you are interested in playing the popular game “Mario Kart”, then you should know the most popular “Mario Kart” characters. These players have the same basic skills throughout most of the older games and you won’t get too much of a difference among them besides looks and personal preference, but in the new games there are some big differences, so both aspects will be addressed. Keep in mind that these are the characters that are present in most “Mario Kart” games and are not all of the characters that have appeared in every single game.

  1. Mario. Obviously one of the main characters in the “Mario Kart” games because, well, his name is in the title. Mario’s has tradionally been a short and plump plumber with a red hat and with red karts throughout most of the “Mario Kart” games. His attributes are usually pretty well balanced.
  2. Luigi. Luigi is Mario’s brother in the Mario universe. His main color has always been green in contrast to his shorter and fatter brother’s red. Luigi’s skills usually lean more towards speed and agility in the “Mario Kart” games rather than power.
  3. Wario. Wario is Mario’s enemy in many of the games, and is also Mario’s doppelganger in that his name begins with a W instead of an M but the rest of his name is the same. Wario’s main color is yellow and he usually learns more towards power and collecting powerful items in “Mario Kart” in contrast to Mario’s balance.
  4. Bowser. A turtle that has always been Mario’s arch enemy, in “Mario Kart” Bowser is most comparable to Wario. Bowser is most like Wario because he is pretty slow in “Mario Kart” but has a great time with getting powerful items.
