Modern Warfare 2 Achievements

"Modern Warfare 2" achievements run the gamut of special operations game play. Many of the "Modern Warfare 2" achievements are ball busters to achieve. If you complete them all, you'll be put on the top of the Special ops stud list.

1. Star 69: You will be nothing short of a star should you master this "Modern Warfare 2" achievement. Stars are earned by completing missions on the Veteran setting. Mastering time missions is the only way to hit 69 stars. Buckle down and hit the game controller, because you are in for a long fight.
2. The Price of War: Another 90 point "Modern Warfare 2" achievement winner. In this event, you must complete the single player campaign on Hardened or Veteran difficulty. There is a reason this is a 90 point achievement—it is out of this world difficult. Players know it is doable but the pain and sweat you have to endure to get there is overwhelming. All this makes this achievement a definite online boasting point and an achievement avatar you’ll post next to your name proudly.
3. Two Birds with One Stone: Small points for this one—only ten. But killing two enemies with one bullet is a great achievement to boast. Whether by luck or great marksmanship (i.e. luck), if you take out two operatives with a single shot, you are smokin’ man. This is a neat little badge to show off from time to time and certainly one worth trying to pull off.
4. Some Like it Hot: This "Modern Warfare 2" achievement is just good fun. To accomplish it, you must waste six enemies with a thermal weapon in Single Player or Special Ops mode. What makes this so great? Breaking out the big guns and blasting your enemy to hell is fun no matter what game you are in and in "Modern Warfare 2" it is a great ride that ends in a sweet achievement.
5. For the Record: This stepping stone achievement is a notice to the community that you are a serious "Modern Warfare 2" player and are someone to look out for. By completing the single player campaign in Difficult mode, you are well on your way to Veteran status and achieving the top awards. So flash it proud and let others know, you are on the prowl.
