Most Anticipated Video Game Releases 2010

Out of all the most anticipated video game releases of 2010, some stand out more than the others. There are exceptional games being released in many genres including, sports, role-playing games, shooters, and more.

1. Lost Planet 2: One of the most anticipated video game releases this year, if you are a fan of shooters. This sequel to Lost Planet begins ten years later from where the first game left off. Lost Planet 2 features new very diverse areas. Some are icy land, desert, and jungle levels. The game has many new creatures to battle. There is also a co-operative mode for up to four players. Release date is set for May 11, 2010, and is being released on PC, PS3, and Xbox360.
2. Fable3: The long awaited video game release of Fable 3 is almost here. The Fable 3 character is the son/daughter of the Fable 2 character is set out to become the ruler of Albion. The world of Albion will look much like the 1800's in England. Depending how Fable 2 was played, and what choice were made, affects how the world on Fable 3 will appear. The main character will be able to do many new expressions such as; hug, kiss, and tickle other characters in the game. This game also features new gadgets, weapons, and clothes. Also for the first time you will be able to travel outside the Albion world and discover new areas. Expected to be released late 2010, and being released exclusively for Xbox360.
3. Skate 3: For the sports loving gamers Skate 3 will surely be the most anticipated video game release of 2010. Skate 3 will take place in a new city, Port Carverton. There will be new tricks to learn and new pro skaters to choose from. For the first time Skate 3 will be offering difficulty modes; easy, normal, and hard core. Pro skaters being featured include: John Cardiel, Chris Cole, Jason Dill, Rob Dyrdek, and Danny Way. Release date is set for May 11, 2010, and being released for PS3 and Xbox360.
   
4. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Maker: This is a great strategy video game being released in 2010. It is set in 1974, the location is Costa Rica The main character is "Big Boss". The story mode is played by a team, made up of four other generic players, chosen by the game. The player is able to choose what clothing "Big Boss" will wear on the missions. There will also be an online multi-player mode. Release date is set for June 8, 2010, and being released exclusively for PSP.
5. Fallout: New Vegas: This game is another very anticipated video game being released this year. This game is to be set three years after Fallout 3. The main character is a wasteland courier, which his appearance will be fully customizable from his hair to his mouth. There will be more dialogue options, new customizable weapon attachments, and a new difficulty setting; hard core mode. Release date is set for October 1, 2010, and being released on PC, PS3, and Xbox360.
