Outdoor Places To Cool Off In Arizona

The best outdoor places to cool off in Arizona constitute all those places in the state where you can enjoy a nice and cool temperature while still being out in the sweet, Arizona climate. A state in America's Southwest, Arizona is the final of the contiguous states to actually be admitted to the Union; it also is recognized as one of the "Four Corners" states along with Utah, Colorado and New Mexico.

  1. Golfland Family Fun Center. The Golfland Family Fun Center is number one on this list of the best outdoor places to cool off in Arizona because it has so many activities that really help you cool down. For instance, you can really cool down in the center's wave pool or just in its chaise lounge if you don't enjoy getting wet. This is an ideal fun center for your whole family as not only does it cool you down, but it lets you do so at economical prices. Golfland Family Fun Centers also include Big Surf (for the wave pools) and Sunsplash (river rides!). These family parks have been in operation for decades, owing to their massive popularity.
  2. Chase Field. Chase Field deserves a spot on this list of the best outdoor places to cool off in Arizona because it incorporates America's favorite pastime into the mix: baseball. Since baseball is mostly played at night or in the evening when temperatures are cooler, attending a Diamondbacks baseball game at Chase Field is one of the best things you can do to cool off in Arizona. Making this offer even more sweet is the fact that families can save money by buying their kids tickets at one of twelve concession stands throughout Chase Field.
  3. Mormon Lake Lodge. The Mormon Lake Lodge sits in the cool atmosphere that you can only find in the Ponderosa Pines. These woods offer great respite from the stifling, summer heat in Arizona, and the close location to the lake just adds to the cooling-off effect. In Northern Arizona, staying at one of the cabins in this resort area will grant you access to the many attractions in the area, such as the Coconino National Forest. There is also a multitude of activities that you can attend to, things like ATV-riding, mountain-biking, trout-fishing for the whole family and even watching rodeos.
