Paintball easy tips for beginners can be implemented no matter how new you are to the game. Even if you’ve never played a game before, these easy tips for beginner can be used to help you survive longer or maybe even be a part of the winning team. Take these tips seriously and use them during the game to help you succeed.

  1. Stay safe. Beginner paintball players sometimes can underestimate how dangerous the game can be. Your skin should be covered at all times, and you should never, for any reason whatsoever, take off your face protection. A paintball can seriously injure you, especially when hit in the face or eyes.
  2. Practice with your paintball gun. This should be done before you get out on the field, not during a game. Before you gear up and start playing, you should already know how the gun works and how to shoot it accurately. Practice with a target for several hours before playing a game.
  3. Dress for the field. Your clothes, gear and shoes should be dark colors. This means browns, dark greens or black. Any light colors will get you eliminated from the game very quickly, and don’t underestimate just how visible those light colored sneakers can be on the paintball field.
  4. Watch the other players. You can learn a lot by watching the other players. This includes your own team and the opposing team. Even if you do get shot and eliminated, ask yourself how the opposing player was able to take aim, shoot and hit the target accurately.
  5. Don’t sit still. Beginner paintball players can sometimes have a habit of camping out in one spot with the logic that they will not be discovered and therefore, stay in the game longer. This tactic does not work well during an actual paintball match. You’re very likely to be discovered and shot sooner rather than later.
  6. Shoot when you have the chance. This may be one of the easiest paintball tips for beginners that is hardest to put into practice. It’s easy to say you’re going to shoot when you have the chance, but it’s much more difficult to actually do it when faced with an opposing player and possibly fleeing from being shot yourself. However, when the time comes, try your hardest not to hesitate and just shoot.
