Palm Pre Update

The Palm Pre has grown into a popular phone and therefore a Palm Pre update is needed every once in awhile to keep it up to date. The Palm Pre is a smartphone where you can surf the web, text, e-mail and basically contact people in several different ways. The Palm Pre uses the Palm webOS that needs to be taken care of regularly. The WebOs is an operating system that like other operating systems may encounter bugs or problems. If you know how to update your Palm Pre you can easily save yourself the time and trouble of having to deal with unecessary problems.

To perform a Palm Pre update, you will need:

• Palm Pre
• Battery Charger

1. Try to make sure that you perform this update while your phone is fully charged. Its battery life does not necessarily have to be at full, but it would be better if it had at least 30 percent of its battery life left before you begin the update.
2. Open up the "Updates" app on your phone. Look to see if there is a software update that needs to be performed. If there is an update that you need then select "Download Now" for that update. Once it is down downloading click "Install Now." Wait for the update to finish installing and once it is done click on where it says "Done." Once it is done you can continue using your Palm Pre because it has now been updated.

Updates are fairly easy to do and you should be able to easily keep up with them with no problems at all.
