Performing exercises is good for everyone, but you can make your patellofemoral condition worse if you ignore it. Many sports players have shortened their careers because they did not proceed with caution when knee pains began to develop. A qualified and well-trained orthopedic surgeon can develop a treatment plan for you. In some cases, surgery may be necessary to alleviate the pain. Medications may also be prescribed.
