If you want to get into body piercing you will need to know what kind of piercing supplies you will need. Along with some training, you will need certain piercing supplies that will ensure each piercing goes smoothly and safely. Some of the piercing tools you need are also medical tools that take on a second life. f you are brave enough to get something other than your ears pierced these are just a few of the piercing tools you may come in contact with.

Needles – One of the most important piercing tools are the needles. There are different types of needles used for different types of piercings. Some needles thread onto the jewelry itself. After the piercing, the needle is unthreaded and the end is put on. There are curved needles and straight needles in both threaded and unthreaded. Each is needed to produce the desired piercing. If you are afraid of needles then a body piercing is not for you. Some of these needles look as though they are used in torture teatments.

Microdermal Tools – Microdermal piercing tools are used to place pieces of jewelry under the skin. They aren't necessarily implants, just jewelry that are placed under skin through a small puncture. It's another step for the brave at heart. Placing things under the skin isn't our cup of tea, but hey, that's just us.

Hemostats – Hemostats are used to hold body jewelry and to insert anchors in the the skin. They work perfectly for holding onto small pieces because of their notched ends. Used as a body piercing tool is maybe the second best use for hemostats. Do you know what the first is?

Sterilizer – Although this is not necessarily what you would consider a tool, the sterilizer is probably the single most important body piercing tool. The sterilizer will keep the piercing tools clean and help keep you and your customers safe from disease. We don't know about anyone else, but this is the most important piercing tool in any collection we have ever seen. We can get into enough contaminates all by ourselves and don't need any help from dirty piercing tools.

Jewelry – With body jewelry, piercing would not be necessary. Body jewelry adds a touch of bling to the body, sometimes in places that most people wouldn't think of. Although most people have or know someone that has their ears pierced, there are many other body parts that can been pierced as well. This is what the pain of body piercing is all about. Body jewelry should be exactly what you want because it is a part of you now.
