3. Start a Farmville account. It's free but to play Farmville you'll have to allow it to access your basic information just like you do with any other Facebook app. You will go ahead and click "allow" in order to get started.
4. Choose a gender. Once you're in the game you simply choose a gender to get started. You will then be able to choose a type of face, hair and clothing.
5. Follow the tutorial. In order to play Farmville it isn't difficult to learn but there is a tutorial that helps you get started on the basics of the game. There, you will learn about neighbors, planting and harvest crops and keeping animals and buildings. You'll start out with the cash, crops and buildings that the game give you and expand upon that. The tutorial is interactive so it's not like you have to read a book to learn the game. Just follow along and learn how to keep your farm flourishing and profitable.
6. Interact with friends. Part of the fun of playing Farmville is the interaction with your neighbors. These neighbors are people on your friend list that you can visit on Farmville and send and receive gifts.
