They had two children together, William, who was 15 when his mother died, and Harry, who was 12. Prince Charles, William, and Harry were all out of the country at their vacation home in Scotland when Princess Diana tragically died. Princess Diana's death came as a shock to the entire world and it is still discussed to this day.

Princess Diana died on August 31st, 1997 in Paris, France. Prince Charles flew to Paris after he heard that his ex-wife had died so he could take her remains back to Britain. Princess Diana died from internal injuries that she sustained as the result of a high-speed automobile accident she was involved in. In addition to being with her chaffeuer, Princess Diana was also with Harrod's heir Dodi Fayed. Unfortunately, both the chaffeur and Fayed were pronounced dead at the scene of the automobile accident.

Princess Diana died at exactly 4 a.m. after going into cardiac arrest at a hospital in Paris. Princess Diana suffered both severe head and internal injuries, including significant damage to her lungs. Ambulance workers were able to bring Princess Diana back to life at the scene of the accident, but upon arriving at the hospital, her heart stopped beating and doctors tried to revive her for over two hours. However, the doctor's attempts were unsuccessful and the hospital announced her death around 6 a.m.
