The city that never sleeps is not known for paintball, but there are a few quality, public paintball fields in New York City. Paintball has had its ups and downs in popularity. Currently, paintball is seeing somewhat of a resurgence and even urban paintball arenas are popping up all over the US. While New York City may not have many paintball fields from which you can choose, there are some. Test yourself in one of today's fastest growing extreme sports at some of these city fields.

  1. NYC Paintball. NYC Paintball offers some of the best paintball in New York City. NYC Paintball is one of the only indoor fields within the metro area of NYC. This complex, close to the 59th Street Bridge in Queens, boasts a choice of two indoor paintball fields. They offer a 10,000 square foot giant field, as well as a more intimate 7,000 square foot field. NYC Paintball offers full rental packages and offers discounts for players who own their own equipment. Theme nights and food and vending machines make this paintball center in NYC top on the list.
  2. High Velocity. This is the best outdoor paintball field in the New York City area. This Long Island paintball complex has it all. With over seven themed fields to choose from, you know you are going to have fun here. Some of the most realistic fields in the industry provide tanks, planes and cars for cover. Be sure to check out their castle field for a really unique paintball experience. High Velocity paintball provides a mixture of outdoor and indoor fields.
  3. Island Paintball. Island Paintball has been in the game since 1988. That is a long time for any business to last in NYC, but for a paintball field, that is legendary. The field offers two field options for paintball: a tournament field and a unique "L" shaped field. Island Paintball offers package deals for equipment rentals and allows walk-ons from Tuesday through Sunday. Island Paintball offers parties and team building activities.
