Christian Erland Harald von Koenigsegg is from a German family and was born in Sweden in the year 1972. He is a dreamer and believes in changing the world by innovation. Christian Von Koenigsegg’s early years, saw a number of disappointments as his inventions did not get much appreciation. This made him realize that it would be wise to pursue his ambition instead.
Christian Von Koenigsegg dreamed of making the perfect racing automobile. To fulfill his ambition he launched his company at the age of 22 in the year 1994 . The initial designs were hand sketched by him and brought to reality with the help of a few friends. Keeping excellence as incentive a prototype was launched in the year 1996, the Koeningsegg CC. In this car the whole chassis was made with carbon fiber. Constant hard work of the crew rendered fruit and in 2002 they began production of the CC8S model in serial bulk.
A mishap that took Koenigsegg’s workplace made them purchase a place that was formerly used by the Swedish air force. The place included a runway that proved a plus point in automobile speed testing. They developed a model CCXR which is environment friendly and uses bio fuel namely ethanol. The other notable productions are CCGT race car, Koenigsegg CCX and CCR super car.
The most captivating thing about Koenigsegg cars is that most of the carbon fiber parts even now are hand made and intense labor is engaged in constructing a model. State-of-the-art machinery combined with labor has made Koenigsegg a mark of style.
