The QuickTrim diet is a weight loss supplement system endorsed by Kourtney and Kim Kardashian. Like any other nutritional supplement, this product isn’t approved by the Food and Drug Administration and may be unsafe for some people. The system contains four components: Extreme Burn, Celluslim, Fast Cleanse, and Burn and Cleanse, which are meant to be used in conjunction with a healthy, balanced diet and exercise program.

Pros

You may lose weight when you first start taking QuickTrim; however, you should limit the use of this product to no more than twelve weeks. It is likely that the weight you lose at first is from water weight instead of being from fat.

The QuickTrim program focuses on eating a reduced calorie diet that includes healthy foods such as green vegetables, lean protein, whole grains, fresh fruits and nonfat dairy products, so you can use QuickTrim to jumpstart a long term healthy diet program.

Exercise, which is part of a healthy lifestyle, is encouraged by the QuickTrim diet. Although the program calls for only 30 minutes of exercise per day, you can burn even more calories if you increase your daily exercise to at least 60 minutes.

Cons

As is the case with any supplement, side effects are possible. Some of these effects include increased heart rate, high blood pressure, dizziness and gastrointestinal upset. Diarrhea is another common side effect caused by laxatives in the products, which can be minimized by taking the smallest recommended dosage of the QuickTrim products.

The weight loss you experience from taking QuickTrim is usually short-lived unless you adhere to the reduced calorie diet and exercise program after you stop taking the QuickTrim products.

QuickTrim is sold primarily because of celebrity endorsements. No solid scientific studies have been done to prove the effectiveness of these products.

Conclusion

QuickTrim is a weight loss aid that may be suitable for overweight individuals who are otherwise healthy; however, before taking these products, consult a doctor to ensure that they are suitable for you.
