Razor Bump Removal

Razor bump removal can prove quite a handful, but with some well used materials and some basic knowledge you can eliminate these skin irritations for a long time if not for good.  These skin irritations happen when you shave and a stray hair gets trapped underneath the skin resulting in razor bumps.  There are a lot of remedies out today that will aid in the removal of them some of these can actually be found in your home or even bought on the shelf.  

Materials needed for this will be:

  • Warm water
  • Facial soap
  • Wash cloth
  • Towel
  • Cotton swabs
  • Rubbing alcohol
  1. Wash your face really good if you have to apply an astringent to really clean your face. The purpose of this is to open your pores to allow for the removal of the hair from the bump.  Make sure that you are using warm water to wash your face with so that it will help moisten your face and make it easy to shave. 
  2. Choosing the right facial cleanser is key to the prevention in these bumps. The right cleanser will actually aid in the removal or the appearance of these bumps. 
  3. Cut down on the frequency of times you shave in a week or a month. This will aide in you being able to let your skin reform from the constant shaving. 
  4. Apply alcohol to your bumps. This will sting alot at first but the nature of alcohol is to dry out the affected area and to draw out the infection. 
  5. Finally using shaving cream will help to soothe the area.  When you have your face all nice and smooth and soft and wet then the application of the cream should actually allow for you to remove the hairs succesfully. 

This should help you in the removal of razor bumps.  Removing razor bumps is not hard, its more about the preparation that goes into cutting the hair.  With this said and done, you should be able to move forward and be razor bump free with these simple steps on razor bump removal .
