Red Dead Revolver for Xbox: How to Make the Target Red in a Duel

  1. First, draw your gun. Reach down (with the joystick), and then gently move the target  reticule back up, with your gun in your hand.
  2. The reticule should be changing shape, from wide to narrow. Place it over your dueling enemies body, and wait for it to change shape. Do not move the joystick at this point. When it becomes narrow, it will turn red. Fire.
  3. Then, move the reticule over slightly, keeping it on the body. Again, it should change shape once you stop moving the joystick, in slow motion, and tighten, and turn red. Fire again. Then, place some more shots on your foe's body.
  4. Each time that you fire when the target is red, it will place a bullet there seconds later when you fire. Try to get as many red targets on your enemy's body as you can, making sure to get some in the upper body areas of the chest, neck, and head. Depending on the difficulty of your foe, it can take several shots to win, so keep waiting for the target to turn red, and place shots on your enemy, using all of the allotted time. When you fire, if you have done this correctly, you will win the duel and progress in the game.

Learning how to make the target turn red in a duel in Red Dead Revolver is not too hard. Place the targeting reticule over your enemy's body, stop moving the joystick, and fire when it is red, and then repeat as many times as you can while the game is still in slow motion.
