The day Roger Federer wins Wimbledon was the day the match between Roger Federer and Andy Roddick took place. This match was said to be a great and intense game. The two played such a good game and it was hard to see which way the game was going to go. Especially within the first four sets of the Tennis match, where Roddick held the only two break of serve in the match. That must have given Federer the extra stamina to dig deeper to get himself ahead.

Within the fifth set is when things became a bit more interesting. This round became what was known as a marathon round. The two were insisted on focusing and not letting that tennis ball get past them. They served all the way up until the 30th game until Roddick hit two break points making it a 9-8 lead. This was Roddick's third final defeat in the Wimbledon match. Federer also beat Roddick in the 2004 and 2005 Wimbledon finals.

This win for Federer gave him a record breaking fifteenth grand slam. The record breaking score puts him ahead of Pete Sampras, who was also present for this victorious match. No one could have predicted the winner until the end of the game because Roddick was doing such a good job at serving Federer. Roddick at one point was up 6-5 when Federer came back with his serve and brought the score to 8-6. This was Roddick's opportunity to come back and secure his win, they had numerous tie breakers. Within the fifth and final round the two had an hour match that was very intense but Federer came out the winner.

This game was played very well and it was an excellent game to watch as they were both great competitors that kept everyone on the edge of their seat with every serve that was being made.
