You may remember Ryan Reynolds as Van Wilder, or perhaps even Monty from “Waiting”, but what about Ryan Reynolds’s diet and exercise regimen? Both these roles caught many fans, many of which weren’t complaining on his physique. However, when presented with a role in “Blade: Trinity”, Reynolds got to business and bulked up to earn the image of his role.

So what exactly was Ryan Reynolds’s diet and exercise regimen? He set the regimen up in two sections: diet and exercise. The diet consisted of a protein-carbohydrate mix that helped build muscle mass and strength, while leaning down fat. The exercise portion of the regimen incorporated muscle building routines that offered maximum build and structure.

Beginning Ryan Reynolds’s diet and exercise regimen, the diet began with short, small meals throughout the day.

  1. Start with a small breakfast. Eat fruits and protein in moderate amounts.
  2. Eat a mid-morning snack. This will provide you with nourishment and prevent your body from hunger. This consists of a protein bar or some sort of fruit or vitamin rich snack.
  3. Eat a well portioned lunch. Considering a tuna sandwich is a great idea for protein and a lean meal option.
  4. A mid-afternoon snack follows. With protein and some sort of fruit, you will get a boost of energy while remaining nourished well.
  5. A hearty, yet lean dinner is the end of the day. This can consist of fish or poultry, depending on your earlier meals. This will give you the strength for the night’s last work out.

Proteins serve as the building blocks our bodies need to increase and strengthen white blood cells, while fruits and vegetables provide the vitamins our bodies use as fuel. With a small breakfast, lunch, and dinner stock full of these fruits and vegetables, he benefited from a strong system, more so than an overworked and stuffed body.

Completing Ryan Reynolds’s diet and exercise regimen was a workout completed every two to three hours. Starting with sit-ups, he follows up with heavy weight training working the four main muscles. Reynolds was able to turn 11% body fat into 3% body fat within five months, showing up for “Blade: Trinity” with a  body that looked as if it had been toned and worked for years.

Ryan Reynolds’s diet and exercise regimen doesn’t consist of starving the body to lose weight, just to fill up on muscle enhancers that put your cardiovascular system in jeopardy. Ryan Reynolds’s diet and exercise plan also provides a full day’s nutrition, which works in accordance to the exercise regimen and daily patterns. With results you can see yourself, this diet and exercise plan provides the full body enhancement that is much sought out by most of us.
